With the extension of the Acara Street which connects project area to Beyoğlu Galatasaray square, Acara Istanbul is a place coordination by combining different levels with ramps, stairs and other elements.
This project is the result product of the problem of adding a new building to a historical area; Beyoğlu. The buildings which are parallel to Yeni Çarşı Street have been protected and the design, that has open and closed spaces, creates public spaces in 3 layers. First layer takes Acara Street to upper levels and shows the unique bosphorus view. Second layer creates open spaces and public squares and the third layer is a combination of underground exhibition halls, conference hall and a small art bazaar.
